Why -10 JIC/AN

MIH Performance has made a conscious effort to identify and use a single hose system for its range of oil control products. As a standard we recommend and promote -10 JIC/AN.

 Why -10 JIC/AN hose connections

The internal bore of the hose, hose ends and adaptors is equal to that of the oil filter spigot bolt and therefore offers no volumetric reduction in cross sectional capacity.All proven lightweight high performance hose systems are based on the JIC/AN specification. People who own, build and maintain high performance vehicles all use it out of choice.The JIC/AN system offers a level of performance and compatibility that is not yet achievable with any one other hose specification.The -10 JIC/AN hose remains flexible enough to be routed within the confines of your vehicle, the typical bend radius is 4” or 100mm to the inside edge and the outside diameter of the hose is 0.8” or 20.32mm.

It also allows for inclusion of fittings and adaptors (where required) in our ready to use kits saving you additional cost and giving you piece of mind the parts are fully compatible. Other adaptors to larger or smaller AN sizes can be supplied at request.
